This is the first time I’m writing in this new English blog. Today, I’m just going to tell a little bit about myself, but later I will post texts about things we work on in English social studies.
My name is Maria Elise. I’m 18 years old, and I live in Sandvika in Norway. This will be my thirteenth year with English in school, and I will study English every Tuesday. My school is called Sandvika VGS, and it’s a very new and modern school where all the students have their own computer.
On my spare time I like to hang out with my friends, watch movies and work out. A lot of time also goes to school work and my part-time job at the cinema.
I look forward to this year with English studies, and I hope that it will be many interesting texts in this blog by the end of the school year.

It seems that you are excited about this class. You get your own computer at school?? We have some but we have to leave them at school and they are to share with everyone. That seems really neat. What kind of movies do you and your frinends like to watch??? I like just about anything. Mostly fantasy type movies and some horror.
